Tarta de la Abuela

8-10 servings
Total time 4.5 hours

Ingredients

  • 14-16 oz plain biscuits
  • 4 cups milk (for soaking the biscuits)
  • 7 oz dark chocolate
  • 3.5 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups milk (for the chocolate pudding)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  2. Pour the 4 cups of milk into a bowl. Briefly dip each biscuit into the milk to soften it.
  3. In a rectangular dish, place a layer of the soaked biscuits. Pour some chocolate pudding, covering the biscuits. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of chocolate pudding on top.
  4. Chill for at least 4 hours (recommended overnight).
  5. Slice and serve chilled.
